Connect ChatGPT

Send one document

1. Open a document in Lunaris.
2. Open More → Open in → ChatGPT.
3. If Lunaris copies a long document to your clipboard, paste it into the new chat.

This shares a copy of the document with ChatGPT. It does not give ChatGPT ongoing access to your workspace. Only send content you want to share with that service.

Connect the desktop apps

If you use the Lunaris desktop preview and ChatGPT desktop app:

1. Keep Lunaris open. Go to Settings → Local Data and enable Agent access.
2. Under Connect ChatGPT, choose Read only to start.
3. In ChatGPT, open Settings → MCP servers → Add server.
4. Name the connection Lunaris, choose STDIO, and copy the Command and Arguments shown in Lunaris into the matching fields.
5. Save the server, then select Restart in ChatGPT.
6. Return to Lunaris and approve the ChatGPT Desktop pairing request.

This connection can include Local workspaces in the desktop app. Keep Lunaris running while using it. See OpenAI’s MCP setup guide  if ChatGPT’s settings look different.

To stop access, choose Revoke beside the client in Lunaris. Turning off Agent access revokes all approved clients.

Connect to Lunaris Cloud

For ChatGPT web, use a cloud connection. Availability depends on your ChatGPT account and workspace settings.

1. Open the Lunaris connection page , choose your cloud data region, and copy the connection URL.
2. Follow OpenAI’s connection guide  to enable developer mode and add a connection in ChatGPT Plugins.
3. Name it Lunaris, enter the URL, and sign in to Lunaris when asked.
4. Review the requested access, then add the connection to a conversation.

The cloud connection cannot read Local workspaces. If connections are unavailable for your account, use Open in → ChatGPT or Copy page.
