Web, Desktop, and Mobile
Lunaris is currently available as a web app that adapts to desktop and mobile browsers. Dedicated desktop and mobile apps are planned, but not yet available.
Local projects are different: they remain in the browser profile and device where you created them.
Web app
Open web.lunaris.app in a current browser. The web app is the quickest way to start and does not require an installation.
Use the web app when you:
- want access from a computer, phone, or tablet;
- are using a shared or managed device;
- want updates without installing a new app; or
- prefer to install Lunaris from your browser as a web app.
Browser data stores the local copy used for offline work. Avoid clearing site data when you have a local project or unsynced changes.
Desktop app (planned)
The desktop app is in development and is not yet available for download. It is planned to bring Lunaris into a dedicated desktop experience while keeping the same workspaces, projects, and familiar interface.
Until it launches, use Lunaris in a desktop browser. The web app is PWA-compatible, so supported browsers can install it as a standalone app and add it to your applications or dock.
Mobile app (planned)
A dedicated mobile app is planned and is not yet available. Until it launches, open the mobile-adaptive web app in your phone or tablet browser. Because the web app is PWA-compatible, supported mobile browsers can also add Lunaris to your home screen and open it like an app.
On smaller screens, Lunaris focuses on one thing at a time. A project opens to its folders and items; selecting an item opens it full screen, and Back returns to the project. Search stays at the bottom of the project list.
Use more than one device
Private and Shared projects sync through your account. To prepare one for offline work in another device’s browser:
- Sign in to the same account on that device.
- Open the correct workspace.
- Open the project while connected and wait for the sync indicator to finish.
- Confirm the content you need is available before going offline.
A Local project will not appear in another browser profile or on another device. Create the project as Private or Shared when cross-device access matters.
