Work Offline

Lunaris is offline-first. The web app stores working data in your browser, so a temporary loss of connection does not have to stop your work.

Prepare before going offline

Open the cloud project—and any uploaded files you will need—while connected. Wait for its initial download and confirm the sync indicator is healthy. Content that has never reached this browser cannot be fetched without a connection.

For more reliable standalone use, install the web app as a PWA from a supported browser. See Web, Desktop, and Mobile.

While offline

Continue opening downloaded content and making edits. Lunaris saves changes locally and shows Offline Mode. Features that need a server, such as invitations, billing, workspace activity, backups, and the assistant, remain unavailable until you reconnect.

When you reconnect

Keep Lunaris open while it uploads local changes and downloads newer cloud changes. Wait until the status returns to online and synced before clearing browser data or signing out on a shared device.

Local projects never sync. They remain only in the browser where they were created, whether you are online or offline.
