Manage Workspaces

A workspace is the top-level home for projects, members, extensions, billing, and backups. Use separate workspaces when ownership or membership should be kept apart.

Switch or create a workspace

Use the workspace selector above Recent Projects to switch between workspaces. The project list changes to the selected workspace.

To create another one:

  1. Open the workspace selector.
  2. Choose Create workspace.
  3. Enter a name and a unique workspace slug.

The slug becomes part of workspace links. Choose a stable, recognizable value; changing it can make previously copied links outdated.

Change workspace settings

Select the settings button beside the workspace selector. The available tabs depend on your role and plan:

  • General for the workspace name and slug;
  • Members for invitations and roles;
  • Extensions for workspace extension information;
  • Billing, Backups, and Audit log for owner controls.

Personal workspaces are intended for one person and do not have a Members tab. Create a regular workspace when you want to collaborate.

Only an owner can make administrative changes or delete a workspace. Workspace deletion affects every project it owns, so download a backup first.
