Understand Sync Status

The sync indicator summarizes whether this browser and Lunaris Cloud agree. Select it for details such as the last successful sync.

Common states

• Online and synced — cloud content is up to date.
• Uploading or Downloading — changes or files are moving; keep Lunaris open.
• Offline Mode — edits are stored locally and will upload after connectivity returns.
• Local-Only Mode — an anonymous session or local project is keeping work on this browser instead of the cloud.
• Sync Error — a temporary failure occurred; Lunaris retries, or you can choose Try Again.
• Sign-In Required — the session expired. Sign in again, then retry.
• Plan or Permission Issue — the current account cannot upload the queued change. Review access or billing.
• Sync Paused — repeated uploads were rejected and automatic attempts stopped.

For a paused state, open Settings → Local Data and choose Try Again after correcting the cause. Clear Upload Queue is a last resort: it permanently discards pending uploads and can lose unsynced work.

An online network icon alone does not guarantee every change has synced. Before closing the app after important work, wait for transfers to finish and check the last synced time.
